Several funding projects are presently ongoing, the Waste 2 Energy project in Bangladesh is moving swiftly and is an excellent example of high scale green infrastructure.
The Waste 2 Energy project encompasses the transformation of all household waste into a viable coal replacement fuel to use in existing coal plants. The aim is to exploit all household waste in Bangladesh and replace up to 40% of the imported coal. Waste is an almost endless resource not currently utilised, and greatly available. The project aims to reduce the committed levels of CO2 by at least 17% set out by the Bangladesh government in the Paris Accord – all without any additional cost for the government.
We have several potential clients who wish to review and take action in Waste 2 Energy projects, encompassing, Landfill construction, Education, Culture Parks, Medicine including AI and much more.
MK1 has proudly been selected for the Project Management Control function on the pilot project for Waste 2 Energy in Bangladesh. Planning and preparations for work are ongoing and installation plans are geared to start in 2022.
The PMC function follows and supports the local project management team to ensure the project will perform as planned and within cost limits, securing the vision of the client and investors.
