Our Challenges

Focus on sustainability

MK1 Network Management has after many years changed its focus to Project Financing enabled by a new Board of Directors.

We believe that investors should take the issues and opportunities of environment and sustainability with impact on society into consideration when deciding their investment strategy. Although the company faces many challenges in the current post-COVID climate, the wealth of experience the new board brings is enormous in a wide range of disciplines and business areas.

Our Director for Global Banking, Trevor Wicks, has a long track record in the finance and banking sector and has brought to the company many close personal contacts and associates for mutual cooperation.

Through these contacts, MK1 has been able to optimise its expertise and been fortunate to be given the trust to evaluate and establish finance for large scale sustainable infrastructure projects in Pacific Asia. We are also looking at innovative projects in Europe including medical products that will have a global impact.

Our Process

Before looking to find the right funding mechanism for our client, relations are paramount. To be successful our and the clientele’s relations with governmental and international institutions are of high importance. For large projects with an environmental and sustainability focus, it is highly paramount.

We are continuously seeking to enhance these relations to ensure the success of these vital projects. Without them, even the most desirable and profitable projects will not take place.

Another challenge that MK1 has is maintaining suitable partners and associates. In 2021 we have established a partnership with private investors from the private financial and legal sector..

Another important area is the Carbon Credit market and understanding its functionality and impact it will have on the businesses on a global and financial scale. For example, Tesla made a substantial profit increase for 2020 due to these credits (CNBC link). The Waste 2 Energy activities will make positive savings of CO2 emissions and generate Carbon Credits
